On those nights, I often like to pick up a good book or watch a flick. Other times, I might hit the town for a show!
Reading a great way to enter another reality. It’s very relaxing and stimulating for your mind. The funny thing is, I’m really captivated by dental journals and textbooks! I like gaining knowledge while I read, some of which can ultimately benefit my patients. I know … I might come off as a bit of a nerd – but I’m okay with that!
I’ve taken a liking to 3D computer-animated kids’ films, one of which is Rio. This 2011 title from the makers of Ice Age is funny, romantic, colorful, and features a really cool macaw. If you haven’t already spotted Flossie, our logo on our website, take a look and I’m sure you’ll see some similarities! One of my favorite parts is during the parade scene, when Túlio’s dentist says, “Don’t forget to floss!” The dentist in me was doing a happy dance. The movie received rave reviews – and it’s a must-see for the entire family!
Circling back to live entertainment … I have to say I kind of idolize Elton John. What’s not to love? He’s still working at the age of 71, performing his classics for millions of fans worldwide. Well, I’m one of those lucky fans who has seen him in concert … not once … not twice … but three times. He knocked each show out of the park! I can’t get enough of his music … but he earns bonus points for his admiration of cocker spaniels!
